Learn how to properly jump your horse over small obstacles.
It is not a question of do you or don’t you want to jump your horse. . . but rather what will you do when your horse decides He’s going to jump, with or without you!
This clinic is for any and all riders to learn how to properly control their bodies and their horse to properly execute a jump over an encountered obstacle – it is not “boots and breeches” riding for a hunter class at the local horse show. Come and learn the basic skills of jumping. You will gain an understanding of the mechanics of how horses jump and acquire correct technique for safely negotiating that moment when your horse goes for those creek broad jumps, log high jumps, and of course the dreaded garden hose rocket launch.
This is an all day clinic that will begin promptly at 9:30 AM and finish about 3:30 PM. There will be an hour lunch break 12-1 PM, so plan on bringing lunch and a drink.
Participant space for this clinic will be limited, so be sure and reserve your space via an RSVP to: boxg.miller @ yahoo.com (without spaces)
