Called “a flat-out great movie,” by Larry King.
Seabiscuit is a 2003 equestrian sports film directed by Gary Ross and based on the best-selling non-fiction book Seabiscuit: An American Legend by Laura Hillenbrand. The film is loosely based on the life and racing career of Seabiscuit, an undersized and overlooked Thoroughbred race horse, whose unexpected successes made him a hugely popular media sensation in the United States during the Great Depression. Seabiscuit was nominated for seven Academy Awards. This movie stars Toby Maguire, Jeff Bridges and Chris Cooper.
Plan on arriving at 6:30 PM and the movie will start at 6:45 PM. Plenty of Buttered popcorn and Kettle corn will be provided and also ice water. Please feel free to bring a drink of your choice and your own comfortable, camp chair, lounger, or even a bean bag or blanket, so you can kick back and relax (i.e. not squirm on one of the conference room’s folding chairs;-)
