Colorado Driving Horse, Mule & Carriage Auction

If you like or are interested in driving horses, don’t miss Troyer’s Colorado Driving Horse, Mule & Carriage Auction on Friday, July 9th and Saturday, July 10th.

Troyer’s auction has all sorts of driving paraphernalia, and many different carriages, carts and wagons.  It is like going to a free carriage museum.  If you have wondered what it would cost to enter into the driving world, this is where you can find out what it will take for you to equip your horse – or even buy an already trained driving horse.

The Lakewood Riding Club kicked of their 75th anniversary year with a booth at the 2015 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo, that is put on annually by the Colorado Horse Council.

There were flyers, brochures and membership applications available for attendees to pick up and club members took turns manning the booth and answering questions.

One of our junior members was in attendance all weekend, along with her horse, both of whom spent time promoting the club on the trade show floor.
